Sony Entertainment Games has revealed a new mobile game based on the My Hero Academia franchise. My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is due to arrive on iOS and Android as a global release later this year. Per Gamespot, the title was first released last December in Asia.

In addition to the reveal trailer, Sony has also launched the official website, where players can pre-register for the upcoming game. It appears pre-registration will be a good way to get an early head start on special in-game bonuses and currency, such as Katsudon, Drones, Credits, Hero Coins and Recruit Tickets.

My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero Gameplay Trailer

From the trailer, it appears that The Strongest Hero will be a 3D action-adventure game, where players will be able to assume the roles of their favorite heroes from the anime and manga series created by Kohei Horikoshi. From the website and trailer, it looks like Izuku Midoriya (Deku), All Might, Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, Denki Kaminari, Eijiro Kirishima and Tsuyu Asui will be playable down the line, and they’ll be able to utilize their various quirks and abilities.

Besides fast-paced action combat, the game will also have 3D city exploration and some type of sandbox elements.

My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero will be hitting iOS and Android devices this spring in North America, UK, Latin America, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
